The Trail
This is not a race !!!
The choice of 6 or 9 mile trails offers you the opportunity to work test your team.
The trails are challenging, a couple of climbs, some good downhill sections and overall "a wee bitty" undulating. The trail surface is mainly firm and hard packed.
An optional water stop will be available on the 9 mile trail.
Getting There
Balloch Wood is accessed off the A96 going through the town of Keith.
Please find attached map for directions and the trail route.

Mushers Meeting :- 9.00am First team off :- 10.00am
Running order at Organisers discretion
Mechanized equipment is not permitted
Risk Assessment :- safety head gear is recommended
Entry fees :- £10.00 one day
£15.00 both days
Second entry from same owners :- £5.00 one or both days
Cheques payable to :- National Sled Dog Sports Centre
Your time will be recorded, along with the weight of your rig, which has been asked for on the entry form. This information may be used to create a benchmark for a “handicap” format at a future event.
Should you require Third Party Insurance for your dogs, this can be arranged through the National Sled Dog Sports Centre
