Event Write Up               Balloch Wood,  Keith,   17 & 18 February 2007
The National Sled Dog Sports Centre, seemingly the only organisation in the U.K. offering distance to encourage working sled dogs, hosted a working event in Balloch Wood on 17th & 18th February 2007. The temperature was unseasonably mild for mid- February - doubly disappointing considering there had been snow the week before. Trail surfaces were good with the usual endless hill seemingly getting ever longer.
A slightly smaller entry than the first year, it was nice to see the Malamute team of Steve Sim make its way into the history books as the first freight team to run at an NSDSC event.
