THE FETTERESSO FORTY

This event has been planned to offer you the opportunity to work your dogs over approximately forty miles distance over two days.
The Quithel Quarry is doubling as a base camp and a checkpoint.
Overnight parking will be permitted. Portaloo on site – BYO loo rolls !!!
Trail Information
Trail maps will be available, if required.
The western loop ( green ) offers just under 9 miles and is hilly.
The eastern loop ( red ) is also just under 9 miles and undulating.
The short loop from the Quarry ( yellow ) is around 3 miles and available as a rookie run or for exercising puppies and oldies – no timing.
Route markers are to be followed without deviation, however, you may choose to enjoy these trails in many ways :-
Game on for the complete run.
Run one team one loop, return to base and change dogs !
Run one loop, check in at base camp for water and lunch, then off you go !
Run one loop in morning and another in the afternoon
As much as possible we will try to record your times if you wish.
Mushers Meeting – 9am
Running order and start times at Organisers discretion.
Entry fees :- £15.00 one day, £20.00 both days
Second entry from same owners £5.00 for one or both days
Cheques payable to National Sled Dog Sports Centre
Should you require Third Party Insurance for your dogs, this can be arranged through the National Sled Dog Sports Centre
